2013 Title Recodifications

Recodification of Title 33.1: Highways, Bridges and Ferries

Pursuant to § 30-152 of the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Code Commission voted to revise Title 33.1, Highways, Bridges and Ferries, as part of its 2012-2013 work plan. An advisory panel of practitioners experienced in this area assisted the Commission with this title recodification.

The Commission approved the report (2013, S.D. 11) on the recodification of Title 33.1 at its meeting on November 20, 2013. House Bill 311 was considered at the 2014 Session of the General Assembly and enacted as Chapter 805. Click here for more information on this legislation.
